Salutron, the parent company of Smart Health, receives it’s name from a time-honored word of greeting, ‘salutation’ was the original inspiration for our company name. It means “good health to you.” It has now become our corporate mission.

Founded in 1995, Salutron is dedicated to the design and development of high performance Heart Rate monitoring systems for health, fitness, and other commercial applications.

Today, Salutron serves the Heart Rate monitoring needs of top-brand exercise equipment manufactures, fitness watch companies in North America, Europe, and Asia under a variety of Brands, and our most recent endeavor, our own line of Smart Health Walking wellness watches.

Salutron is using its technology leadership to drive and grow recognition of the superior performance available from our proprietary S-Pulse™ technology in the fitness and health equipment marketplace. This technical advancement is also being driven in Salutron’s first branded consumer product, the Smart Health Heart Rate Watch, available in early 2006 from major drug store retailers throughout North America.
